2014-15 Club Goals Set!!
The Board of the Brazos River Rotary Club recently approved the goals for the club 2014/15 year! All goals were based on the feedback of members during multiple vision sessions.

- CLUB SERVICE/SOCIAL
- Hold at least quarterly Club Social Events
- October 24th Social
- Holiday (December) Social
- Spring 2015 Social
- Summer 2015 Social
- Continue the “What’s My Story” programs recognizing members throughout the Rotary year.
- Hold at least quarterly Club Social Events
- YOUTH SERVICE
- Complete Huggins Field Project by 5/1/15
- Start process of developing Youth Safety Program for area schools to start in the 2015/16 Rotary Year
- Determine Partnering Agencies
- Determine Curriculum
- Develop Club Committee for Implementation
- Start process of developing Early Act/First Knight program for Huggins School to start in the 2015/16 Year
- Set up Fall 2014 Club Program
- Conduct program site visits at other clubs by Winter 2015
- Determine willingness of LCISD to support
- INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
- Implement Polio Plus Donation Box program in the Fall of 2014 for donations by May 2015
- Look into the possibility of conducting a Russian Business Intern Program for the Summer of 2015
- Identify Host Business
- Identify Host Home Stay Families
- VOCATIONAL SERVICE
- Develop and implement Huggins School “Teacher of the Year” and “Administrative Paraprofessional of the Year” recognition program for May or June of 2015.
- Research and develop an annual club recognition of Veterans by the end of the Rotary year 2015.
- COMMUNITY SERVICE
- Implement a “hands-on” service project in conjunction with the Huggins Field Project, to be completed before April 1, 2015.
- Research and identify a project for competition by June 30, 2015 in one of the following areas:
- Community Clean Up (Park, Home, Etc.)
- Holiday Food Basket Delivery
- FUNDRAISER
- Short-term
- Holiday Event Project
- Limited “Holiday Hayride” December 2014
- Holiday Event Project
- Long Term
- Expansion of a larger “Holiday Hayride” event for 2015.
- Identification of other “one day” fundraising event.

- Parade(s) flag or glow stick distribution.

- Placement of weekly meeting notice in all area media.
- Development and distribution of at least two club PSAs with pictures to area media.

- Growth of membership to 35 members by June 1, 2015
- FOUNDATION
- EREY – 100% of club members donating $100 to the Foundation.
- Polio Plus – That collectively, the club membership donates at least $600 to Polio Plus through personal donations of the PP donation boxes.
