Everyone has had to adapt to connecting in new ways due to the pandemic, and that includes job seekers and the companies that are looking to fill positions. Michael Gutierrez, a Special Projects Manager for Texas Workforce Solutions, offered our Rotarians a tour of his agency’s Texas platform which is designed to connect people looking for jobs with hiring managers.

District Leadership Pep Talk

The Power of the Brazos River

Fort Bend County Drainage District Manager Mark Vogler enlightened members about the power of the Brazos River following insights gleaned from a recently conducted erosion study, and the measures needed to safeguard the tens of thousands of people who live along the river's shores, and the +$1 billion in infrastructure and +$15 billion in private property that are at risk from erosion and flooding.
